SPRAY-O-MATIC-II Fully automatic spraying system

The Spray-O-Matic is a spraying system that can be transported fully automatically from bay to bay. The big advantage of this system is that it does not need a hose and cable for supply. A small water tank is filled at the beginning of each bay and the spraying beam is supplied with the water from this tank.

The transport trolley which is used for automatic transport to another bay is equipped with a water and power connection. Drive motors and an automatic positioning system are used to make a connection with the tubes at the roof of the greenhouse.

The spraying unit consists of a frame which is equipped with two drive units with the spraying beam underneath it. The height of the spraying beam above the crops is fully adjustable. The power supply consist of two semi-traction batteries which are charged in the transport trolley automatically. The two water tanks are also automatically filled in the transport trolley so that per bay a certain amount of water is taken.. The pump unit delivers a constant flow and pressure to the dosing unit which is mounted on the height adjustment of the spraying unit.

The switch box is mounted on the transport trolley and is equipped with a user friendly control panel with a touch screen display by which the spraying jobs are programmed.
The system has a wireless communication between the transport trolley and the spraying unit.
After the spraying job the Spray-O-Matic returns to it’s home position automatically.

Optional to this watering system is a PDA device for input of the spraying jobs.

Advantages of this system in regards to conventional systems:

Fully automatic.
Programmable for each separate space or table.
No hoses and cables required.
Less waste of additives because of direct dosing in the spraying beam.
Light weight because of the aluminum frame construction.
