TIFS-II RepluggerTIFS-II plug tray replugging machine. Used to replug germinated plug trays. A camera system in combinations with a software program is used to determine what plugs need to be replaced. In the machine 2 chain conveyors are placed to feed both the donor tray and the tray that will be replugged. The machine consist of 3 stages. First stage is the buffer. Here some plug trays are placed in buffer. Second stage is the inspection stage. Both trays are checked for empty cells by the two black and white cameras (one per lane). The complete gripper bar with a maximum of 20 grippers takes the plants out of the donor tray and places them back in the tray that is being replugged. While the plants are push up from the tray by a push up system the grippers are moving upwards while taking the plants out of the cell. This results in a tray that is filled with 100% “good” plants, with hardly no damage. Equipped with the “new” Visser grippers that will open and close mechanically. The TIFS-II is used in combination with a blow out unit, TIS-100. The result is a high output. All grippers are being used for replugging. In the program different tray sizes can be stored for future use. The grippers can be used to pick up a wide variety of plants. Different grippers for different tray sizes can be purchased extra. The root development is important for the replugging results. Therefore it is needed to discuss the plug quality with your Visser representative. The gripper bar is easy to change to make the machine suitable for different trays/tray sizes and different plug sizes (and gripping pressure). A push up system is included . All motors are servomotors for a high accuracy. Technical specifications:
