Beta 16/32 Potting machine

The potting machine Beta 16 and 32 is used for filling pots of different sizes with soil. The pottingmachine comes complete with a hopper. The hopper is equipped with a rubber beltconveyor. The hopper contains 1,5 m3. The speed of the elevator is adjustable by means of a frequency control. The soil elevator is equipped with wear and tear resistant roller chains and galvanised shovels for different kind of substrates and is reversible for easy unclogging. The central adjustable potcarrousel is provided with a potting ring for 16 or 32 pots and can easily be adjusted by means of a crank. The potsize can vary from 8-24 cm (Beta16) and 8-13 cm (Beta32) (this depends on the type of pots). The potting speed can be adjusted by means of a frequency control. The capacity is approximately 800 - 7.000 pots per hour (depending on the potsize to be processed and the type of pot).

The potting machine comes complete with a special drive worm to rotate the carrousel, because of this drive worm the carrousel is driven without bumping. The drillunit has it’s own drivemotor (mechanically driven) and can turn right and left (for drilling in and out the soil). The height of the carousel is adjustable, so that the feet of the pots have a fixed height.
The potting machine comes complete with a pot dispenser. The height of the pot dispenser is adjustable for different pot sizes and can process pots with the following up to 24 cm.
The construction material is primarily painted steel with and anodised aluminium and galvanised components.
Greater efficiency is also ensured by the new construction of the soil hopper, which prevents tunnel formation when conveying substrate and makes manual intervention unnecessary.
The outstanding quality of the machine guarantees top planting quality. With a constant central precision plant hole drill, the Beta 16 creates the perfect basis for consistently favourable cultivation conditions as well as consistent plant quality.
The potting machine is highly compatible with other automation and processing systems. Systems that can be place next to the potting machine are for instance transplanting systems: Type PC 11, Type PC 14.
